Hi all
I am running x10.3.9 and was notified of an itunes update today 2/21/06. I am running itunes 6 version 6.0.3. I down loaded the upgrade and when I was prompted to install it when I connected my iPod (U2 model) a window came up that said you have two ipods connected - disconnect one using the finder then upgrade the software. I only have one iPod connected and have been unable to update. I just click cancel when the "do you want to update"prompt comes up otherwise I can't use iPod or iTunes.
Any help out there?
Thanks
ssk

Resetting PRAM and NVRAM

1. Shut down the computer.
2.Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3.Turn on the computer.
4.Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
5.Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
6.Release the keys.

This only resets the PRAM, not the NVRAM. To reset NVRAM is a completely different process.

Also, you do not need to shut the computer completely off -- a simple restart works as well... just as long as you hold down the Command-Option-P-R keys right after the "bong" sound (no, not the bubbling water sound -- the 'C' note symphony sound!).
