SCSI Drivers

I have a SCSI port for an old G4 450. It's installed, but I have no idea what driver I need or where I can source it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It may be an Adaptec 2906 or 2930. If so, I believe it's unsupported in OS X versions beyond 10.3.

What version of OS X are you running on that machine?

10.3.9.

I am quite sure it is an Adaptec SCSI and I have managed to find the following drivers: Adaptec 2906, 2930 and 39160. I guess one of them should work.

The exact model should be printed on the PCI card itself, so you won't have to download unnecessary drivers.

It is more than likely a 2906 or 2930 -- the 39160 was a high-end Ultra-SCSI card that was a BTO option.

OK. I'll check it out (I didn't know about the ramifications of the third).

Many thanks.
