I'm in central Delaware, and been outside only a couple of times today to check the outside of my house. So far, so good.
I'm far enough from the shore line, so not much problem with high tides or storm surge - but lots of wind
and - way too much rain...
Same here in Northern Virginia. Some areas with small creeks or the Potomac are now experiencing flooding and luckily I am not in any of those areas. I just lost power for 5-6 hours but everything else in my little world is all better now.
Nothing like the New Jersey coast.
I think, overall, not too much struggle in Delaware, except for flooding in coastal back-bay areas, and then the ocean-facing beach areas, which is only some 25 miles in length.
Some folks are still without power, lots of beach erosion, damage to piers, etc, but that's what you might expect from a storm of that magnitude.
From what I hear, most folks are not too bad in Delaware, and much less damage than some expected.
