TV Shows I Miss

wdw_

Rockee
I was flipping around the channels trying to find something to watch. I found nothing. I started reminiscing about the good ol' days, when I watched Nickelodeon. There were so many good shows. Here is a list of the shows I miss and wish were still in syndication:

The Adventures of Pete & Pete
Clarissa Explains It All
Ren & Stimpy
AAAHH!!! Real Monsters
Angry beavers
Weinerville
You Can't Do That On Television
Double Dare
Legends Of The Hidden Temple
G.U.T.S.
What Would You Do?
Wild 'N' Crazy Kids
Salute Your Shorts
Hey Dude
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
What Would You Do?
Welcome Freshmen
Land of The Lost
Dinosaurs
Flash Forward
Rocko's Modern Life
Kenan & Kel
Animaniacs
Freakazoid
Beetlejuice
Chip 'n' Dale's Rescue Rangers
Duck Tales
Pinky and the Brain
Tale Splin
The Tick
*Welcome Back, Kotter
*Family Guy

I think that's it. So, how about you. Which shows do you miss?

PS. I realize that some of these shows might be in syndication outside my sad, standard cable existence, but for me they only air in my mind...and possibly somewhere on the web.

*A show I added

Clarissa Explains It All
is now on noggin (a combination of nick and "sesame workshop" formaly know as the Childrens Television Workshop)

Chip 'n' Dale's Rescue Rangers
Duck Tales
Tale Splin
are being showen on Toon Disney

(somethnig you can look for in the future ;) )

There were 13 Episodes. The show died because TNT was demanding that J.M. Straczynski, the show's creator, make changes to the show that were manifestly asinine, but which the studio thought would make it sexier and more action-packed.

Why they thought they knew better, after B5 was such a hit, I have no idea.

Anyway, rather than turning the piece into Baywatch In Space, when it was supposed to be rather dark and foreboding, JMS let it die. For a while it seemed that the SciFi network might revive it, but that seems to have fallen through too. They do own the rights to the original 13 eps, though.

A lot of the gory details can be read here:

Fall Guy
Dukes of Hazard
McGuyver
A-Team
Knightrider
Hogan's Heroes
MASH

etc.etc.etc...

Was the "end" open ended (as in "we stopped production deal with it") or was it "the end" and issue resolved ?

Oh boy, good 'ol TV. What would the world be without it? :D Off the top of my head:

Rocko's Modern Life
Animorphs
Beast Wars (see A)
Reboot (see B)
GummyBears
Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers
Darkwing Duck
Invander Zim (see C)
Clarissa Explains It All (See D)
Land of the Lost

Bah, that's all for now.
Appendix:
~A- I used to skip church to watch this show! I watched every episode up until Beast Machines, which ruined the series in my opinion. But still: i wish i could d/l some of the old eps. I didn't just say that.
~B- OMG what a great show, anybody remember this? I can't believe the final episode, i wish somebody would take it on as a new project!!!
~C- Down here it's gone from TV, they didn't even end the season...they just took it away.
~D- Simply put: I LOVE MELISSA!

I miss a show I use to watch when I was stationed in Japan. They also played the whole series (25 shows) on Cartoon Network (with a good dub in English). I was called "Cowboy BeBop". It had way cool music. I even bought the series on DVD and the soundtrack.:D

Admiral --
Crusade came to an end without any plot resolution.

The story went that, in the aftermath of the Shaadow War, disgruntled ex-Shadow-allies had bombed the Earth with a deadly bio-agent which would somehow breed in the air until it reached lethal levels in 5 years. The Earth was totally quarrantined - no ships in or out. A brand-new prototype ship sets out to search the galaxy for an antidote.

They were barely getting started in season 1. Sigh.

lol it was a star trek clone ;)
I had seen the feature movie I think for crusade and saw the ship. that was a weak arse ship man  --- one shot from that BIG cannon thing and the whole power would be knoecked for for 5 minutes --- did they ever resolve THAT problem ? ;)

did you see the reboot movies?
With Daemon, My Two Bobs, etc?
if you didn't, you missed out.
8 or so episodes.
