Hi,

Ive looked through the forum but could find anything. I was wondering that if i upgraded my macbook from tiger to leopard would all my applications be erased or would they stay and be ok. (ie. i have photoshop would i have to reinstall it or will it all still be there)

Depends on what kind of install you do:

1) Clean install -- no, everything will be gone... EVERYthing.
2) Archive & Install -- yes, most everything will stay there.
3) Upgrade Install -- yes, everything will stay there.

Also, you need to make an inventory of your currently-installed programs and ensure by visiting the manufacturer's sites that each program that ran under Tiger is indeed compatible with Leopard as well.

Depends also what version of Photoshop you have currently. Photoshop 7 won't work, and can't be upgraded through a downloadable update. Photoshop CS2 (probably), and newer, should survive the update just fine. Checking all your major (and minor) apps has already been suggested, but an older app that needs Classic, for example, will not be supported (well, not easily anyway :) )
