Upgrade Graphics Memory

Is it possible to upgrade the 64M graphics memory to 128M of the current 17" 1.5G laptop by myself like it is for the main memory? If not, is it possible to do it at all?

Sure, it's possible. Order a new 1.5 GHz, either 15 or 17", and choose the 128 MB video upgrade. It cannot be added to an existing PB, except through purchasing a replacement logic board.

Depending on how everything's put together, you might be able to take out the graphics card and sub in a new one. But, all the graphics cards I've ever seen have the RAM soldered right on the card, not on DIMMs that you could just swap out.
