Utility disk options dimmed

I ran the apple Hardware Test, the result was an error code:4MOT/1/40000003: HDD, so I tried to repair my startup disk with disk utility but the options are dimmen even when i startup the system with the Mac OS X instalation Disk. I already backup all my stuff. I have an Imac 20" (mid 2007) with Mac OS X 10.4.11 running tiger, i have been unable to upgrade to leopard!!

So I tried to Format my HD but i can't
watch the attachments for more details please.
Any suggestions?

I can not read Spanish but by the looks of things the hard drive is going major errors so replace it soon.
 
The 4MOT error from your Apple Hardware test indicates a problem with a cooling fan. In this case, that would be a problem with the HDD (hard drive) cooling fan. It's either not running fast enough, or not working at all.
In addition, Disk Utility is reporting a SMART failure, which is the internal reporting built-in to most hard drives. That problem might have happened because of the hard drive not getting adequate cooling.

So, you have two problems. If you replace the hard drive, and don't fix the fan, the new hard drive will likely have an early failure.

Take your iMac to a service shop where they can replace both parts.
