    I have a 1.67Ghz PB G4 that all the sudden won't get an ethernet connection. I use a wired connection everyday at work and never have any problems, this morning I actually shutdown my computer (which I don't do that often, just let it sleep) and when I got to work my PB would not pick up an IP...

    How can I install X11

    It is on the install disk- did you try looking at the disk with the OS loaded? Pop it in you machine and see if you can find it. I went through this not to long ago but don't remember how I did it exatcly. You can't download it from apple.com- it's just an update. Good luck.

    Why can't I browse properly?

    There should be a little arrow to the right of "save as" that is pointing down. Click it and it will point up and you will have all the options you want.

    A shot in the dark- but I had audio problems with Real Player that I fixed by launching Garageband. Give it a try. +1 on vlc
