wow...good point. I can't believe I didn't think of that. From the sounds of it, if it needs quartz extreme then us G3 users are outta luck. That's a big letdown for me. :(

I tried the audio out today with a friend using our built in mics (pismo and titanium pb) and it sounded great. Very cool feature. :-D

To get the movies in your computer, go to your Applications folder and open up "Image Capture" while your camera is plugged in. You should be able to download the movies off of your camera with that. :D From Image Capture help:

Closing the book puts it to sleep...I don't think you can put a powerbook to sleep and have net connections remain up. You have to move around without closing your powerbook if you want to keep the connection.

Hey I gotta live somewhere, just like you. Can't be all places at once. I have HEARD of Acer and Siemens, just never SEEN their laptops. Consider also that Apple makes laptops not only in the US of A, but ALSO in Europe. Siemens and Acer might be big players over in Europe, but not here...
