Zo - I work for a graphic designing company, and I do the work from my home. In order to transfer the files, I use an FTP client. Therefore, I wanted to be able to compress the files for shorter transfer time.
How can I compress a file into a .sit? I know that right clicking on the file on the desktop and "archive" will compress it into a .zip. Do I need StuffIt in order to do that?
Started computer, rebooted up in start up disk under windows.
Rebooted and came into log-in screen.
Logged in, and then "error, file is corrupt".
How can I reboot getting back into OSX?

Went into iTunes. Wanted to burn a CD. The hard drive can read the CD and shows on the desktop, although iTunes says "Disc burner or software not found". How can I remedy that?
I agree - as an Apple employee, I would highly recommend the Evo cases. Dual layered silicone. It will absorb most of the shock when dropped - having tested it myself. There are a lot of good cases out there - but, stick with the gel/rubber ones.
