Thanks guys, So i did see the startup list and I thank you guys for that! Deleting the keychains seem to fix the problem, once of the accounts had about up tp 90 keychains. What would cause this to happen? By deleting them now, did i do any harm to the pc? Correct if i am wrong but...

There are 2 mac minis. They are both running mac osx tiger 10.4. I will attempt to connect via the settings you gave me. Applications>Utilities>Directory Access ill let you know if i run into any problems.

o i see. the network is a windows 2000/xp network running on a 2k3 server. we do use AD, i would like to be able to take care of the computer (mac) in AD Services if possible. by that meaning, be able to view it in AD and treat it as a regular network computer.
