Just upgraded to 10.3.9 (clean from-scratch install) and now Word keeps crashing in a random-yet-persistant fashion. Does anyone have any ideas why or more importantly, how to fix it? I've a big assignment to type up this weekend - and if I can't type it, I won't be able to qualify as a teacher...

For some reason, Mail kepps insisting on "indexing" all of my messages, a task that it seems to get stuck on about 7/8ths of the way through and then progresses no further. I can send, recieve etc etc whilst this is going on, but I can quit the prog - i have to force quit every time. I havnt...

I also suffer from exactly the same problem with the selfsame permissions. The latter lines appeared after installing MacJanitor, although this could be a coincidence. Any thoughts?
