The thing that I'm enjoying most so far is the new inline find feature. Really makes picking out the results 10 times easier. Another thing I noticed was when I first installed, text rendering seemed to be slightly sharper than previously. I'm not sure if this is just my eyes or what though...

Not personally a big fan of contract phones, hopefully by the time the iPhone reaches the UK there will be some sort of 'pay as you go' option available where the handset doesn't have an extortionate price tag. I've just ordered an N95 to get me through in the mean time. :)

Downloaded in software update, no problems just the usual nail bitingly long restart. :D

I use Youtubex, manually add the .flv extension to the saved file and then drag and drop it into iSquint (free), to convert it to an mp4 file.

Available to download, along with a Safari 3 update.

You have to hold the eject button down for a couple of seconds (since the 10.4.9 update).

I'm after the easiest way I can link my Macbook to my TV so that I can use it to play dvds (if that's possible). The Macbook spec is as below and the TV has the usual connections (video, audio right speaker, audio left speaker, scart). Cheers for any help you can offer.

I downloaded 10.4.9 the other week (need to update my sig), do you mean I should re-download this? Also deleted the plist file, to no avail. :( I've had to resort to audion, which I hate. Really would be grateful to anyone that could help me sort this out.

Having a few problems with iTunes (latest version)! After waking my computer from sleep mode I've found iTunes to be 'not responding', I force quit using activity monitor but the iTunes icon in my dock still shows it as open and as such won't let me reopen it until I've restarted the computer...

Are the security measures in Vista really that intrusive? I've read at a few other places it's a bit, 'over the top' with the constant warnings and password prompts, haven't had chance/ the need to use it myself so have no idea.
