java works, turn it on in your ie preferences. and imho, ie rox netscape. netscape was all good until they released their latest POS. its horrible, even netscape-whores hate it. internet explorere is the future :cool:

i solved the battery problem by taping it down on the edges. noone looks down their anyway

it doesnt lag at all, and i can multitask (irc + aim + dvd) this friken rox... and the speed... i think everything has been improved... im still in shock how awesome os x is!!!!!!! ps, i was using my pb ti w/ 256mb when i tested the dvd....

would you say its just as fast as os9 or faster?

has anyone had a chance to try any prebuild on a powerbook (g4)? the dvd in os9 is horrible. it lags like crazy when your using the menu's, and etc. anyone know if it will be better for os x? is their any chance ill be able to multitask (dvd and irc) ?

im selling my pc (www.dooball.net/my_system/antec ) and planning on getting a new G4. this PB belongs to my parents =\ im wondering if i should get a G4 w/ dual proc. or get a single 500 w/ more ram. i feel that the AMD dual proc. boards arent worth it, but im not sure if its the same...

yea, 8MB is VERY small. that was the one thing I really didnt like about the PB. And the other bad thing is that, its not upgradeable. Ack! on the other side, it does run diablo2 @ ~30fps... which is decent.
