When a disk is mounted on the desktop, how can I change it to NOT open iPhoto? For example, change it to "open with Adobe photoshop?"

When I switch over to 9.2, I hold down the option and the command key to rebuild the desktop. It promts with a message stating if I wish to proceed with the rebuilding of the desktop. I click "Okay" and it switches to another screen indicating that it's saving it to the Info windows. All is good...

Looking for a simple program that will allow me to search my iTunes music and find the duplicates.... My iTunes claims I have 1358 songs, iPod claims I have 1323....what?

Every time I plug in the iPod to my computer - it automatically uploads and updates all the songs from iTunes, but will not stay on desktop. Should I take it off of "automatically update" or will that not help?

Mac enthusiast here. Running on a G4, version 10.3.9. Downloaded the Safari update 1.3.1 - will not install. When install screen pops up, a warning pops up and says "Installer Package 'Safari Update 1.3.1 cannot be opened'. The package is a selected receipt." Is there something I'm missing...

I'm operating on Mac OSX 10.3.9 here. I recently installed this version onto my Mac. For some reason, I can't seem to open a .bin file. I downloaded Windows Media Player in .bin format, and it automatically opens up Roxio Toast. Do I need a specific program to open this kind of file?

Is there such a program that would allow me to "split" a file in half?? For example, I want to put an .avi movie onto a 700MB CD, but it's 705MB. Is there a program that would allow me to split the movie in half so I would be able to put it on a CD? Let me know. Thanks!

I have a little thing that is bugging me. When I type, I want to go to the end of the sentence, but when I press the "end" key, it takes me to the end of the PAGE. Same thing with the "home" key. is there a way I can change that?
