Is there a "sell by" time on wireless cards? I find mine has lost distance from Airport. The closer I get to Airport, the stronger the signal. Formerly, I had no trouble getting the signal in my usual sitting place. Now, I often have trouble. Thoughts? Barbara

Thanks everyone! The problem is solved with a combination of approaches, mostly trashing com.mozilla.firefox.plist and restarting. Of course, I needed to reset all my accounts in Mail but that was a small price. Barbara

Where do I find com.mozilla.firefox.plist, she says stupidly?

None of the suggestions posted so far have solved my problem of Finder not working and the desktop icons not appearing on the first start up each morning. Anyone have any other ideas? Please? Barbara

Sorta on this subject, are iWeb and Panther compatible? That is, how does one download iWeb to Panther, if it is possible?

First of all, my other accounts (AOL and Cox) were missing, there were new folders and I now cannot send mail, although it is incoming. I cannot send mail because my Cox cable account is gone!

Along came this upgrade to 2.0.5 which I foolishly accepted. What a mess my .Mac Mail is now! Has anyone else had this problem? I am especially angry because I have lost my other accounts, which now need to be re-set-up. Barbara
