If I were you, I would definitely go with the MacPro even though it's a few years older. I have the same one (bought new in Feb 07). I had several drives installed and 7 GBs of RAM, which wasn't too bad, but whenever I had to run Photoshop, Illustrator, Parallels and lots of other apps together...

Yeah -- I didn't realize before the RAM in the Air's were not upgradable. ;)

Only problem with that is the MacBook Air's do not have upgradable RAM, which I'm sure you know, so I'd have to do the upgrade with them.

Thank you DeltaMac -- I believe you have solved my issue with the installer. Actually, I am using the gray disk that came with my MacBook Pro. Could I upgrade to Snow Leopard with this disk after I use the gray disk that came with my iMac?
