hi all masters here, in windows environment, ppl may use VC++ / VB in visual studio for development. what mac developers usually and preferably use then? i mean both the languages and IDE tools. i'm just mess up with the terms: coca / carbon / objective-C / Xcode and many ............

when a mac sends email with an attachment, the windows receipient sees 2 attachment. the extra one has the same name of the original one with a dot in front. can i tell the mac not to produce this dot file when attaching?

the mac stores many info such as most recently used files, visted websites, opened applications, etc where is the information stored? is there any applications to clean up those with a single click?
