I actually got it to work, I got a Crescendo G4 400MHz card and it works! Must of been a bad CPU card. No ROM simm needed too.

Actually I have a different MB, there is no CPU onboard, I get the chime with card in and no chime with it out. I see 820-0858-B on the board with a date of 1996. I'm wondering if there is a problem with the video. Again whats that ROM simm slot for?

I got a battery from a spare Mac Color Classic MB I have (Did the Mystic upgrade) and no go. There is a simm slot to the right of the SIMMs labeled ROM Simm, it is empty, do I need some kind of special SIMM for it? Thanks

I would complain about the problems and the scratch! Have them replace the case! I asked about it when I took mine in and they said that if they were to scratch it they would replace and fix it! I would ask to speak to the manager if that bothers you.

Remove the battery and try again. You may need to reset the pram too. Button is on the back near modem jack.

I was also trying to get Q3A 1.32 to run on a PB G3 Lombard with a 333, 512MB and running on Tiger. I get an error saying there is no Open GL card. Can this run on this laptop? It ran fine under 9.2.2 !!!

I am running Q3A 1.32 on a iMac G5 1.8 and PB 1.67 and both have a little static sound when playing. This a known issue?
