Kodak USB Card Reader with Jaguar?

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's the same driver that's used by the Zio, and since I've unistalled it, my crashes have ended. There must be a conflict with something else in my system since it works well for others. Thanks again... Marc

Kodak USB Card Reader with Jaguar?

I'm running 10.2.3. I did install the Developer version of Java 1.4.1, so I'm going to try and remove that and see if it makes a difference. That's the only other software I've installed recently...

Kodak USB Card Reader with Jaguar?

At least I think I've traced it to that driver. It seems that out of the blue I started getting Kernel panics as I put my machine (AGP PowerMac 500Mhz, 512MB RAM) to sleep. After updating permissions, booting from the OS X disk and running Disk Utility, I finally unplugged all my USB devices...

0K available on mounted PC volume

I have no problem mounting Windows shared volumes. My problem is that the status line in the Finder window says "0K available." I've checked with my network admin, and he said everything looks fine on his end. I can mount and use the volume on a PC with no problems. Prior to Jaguar I...

    Wallstreet, 10.2.1, FW, & SCSI

This is most likely both a hardware AND software issue, but I need help. I've got a 266 Wallstreet with 384MB RAM and a 20G HD, an ADB Kensington Orbit, and running 10.2.1, a NewerTech FireWire-To-Go PC Card, a SCSI Zip 100, a SCSI ScanMaker X6, and a CompuCable FW/USB hard drive enclosure...

    Whoops! I broke it already...

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. Lesson learned? Don't go erasing items you don't fully understand. I was able to get it up and running after running the full Jaguar installer and doing another upgrade. (I didn't get the post about Pacifist until afterwards). Then I still had to...

Trouble turning on Windows File Sharing

Thanks for the post, but my problem is starting SMB/CIFS in Mac OS 10.2. In the Sharing preference pane there you can select what file sharing services to activate. One of the choices is Windows File Sharing. When I click on Start to activate the service, nothing happens. Connecting to...

    Anyone Install Jaquar on Wallstreet

I upgraded from 10.1.5. One thing I had to do for 10.0 was copy the modem script from OS 9 to its corresponding directory in 10.0. For some reason, OS X didn't recognize the built-in modem. Using the OS 9 script worked fine. Again, since I'm not using the PB right now, I can't give you...

    Whoops! I broke it already...

Jaguar comes with a windows file sharing option. So, I went to delete Samba Server Config Tool, and all its related files. When I click on Start for the windows files sharing, nothing happens. I'm assuming that I deleted some of Jaguar's files when deleting SSCT. Any thoughts? Help...

    Anyone Install Jaquar on Wallstreet

I installed Jaguar on my Wallstreet and it works great. I don't do any video capture, but I am able to dial in. I believe I'm using the Powerbook Internal Modem v.90, but I'm not at home now so I can't verify that. Good luck.

Waking from sleep on Wallstreet PB

Nope. The only thing connected is the ADB Orbit.

Waking from sleep on Wallstreet PB

I've searched this site as well as Apple's and haven't found anyone with this situation. I've been using my Wallstreet Powerbook (266 Mhz, 384MB RAM, Kensington ADB Orbit) with Mac OS 9.2.1 and Mac OS X 10.1 without a problem since the release of 10.1. I put the PB to sleep when I'm through...
