final cut express is just like final cut pro except it doesnt have half the features or something. Its like photoshop elements and photoshop, they aren't exactly the same. iMovie is more straight forward and understandable, you switch it to camera mode and then click import. There you go...

fixed it ! i deleted a file that was called something like .xinit in my home folder

for some reason my X11 crashes after its open for 3 seconds... the app opens but then xterm doesnt open, the program just quits, no error messages or anything, i have NO CLUE whats wrong i miss my X11 :( :( if anyone can help me i would appreciate it so much, i will buy you a pie!
