I'm not sure what you are referring to about conservatives on college campuses. They are there, just turning a bit silent lately. And why would MSM have blood on their hands? They've been just repeating what the white house administration has been feeding them.

Which, thinking about it, where is the freedom of speech when you are afraid to say out loud the truth.
 
To most Colleges are filled with liberal ideals these days! The College I went too was 25 guys to every girl because it had 3 different engineering majors and large business school where all the Good looking girls went too! After graduation I work for a small company that was bought out by Viacom and w hen as Distant manager to headquarters in Cleveland I suggested going to DVD because there were just coming out with them and they shot my suggestion down in rude way I left to joined the Army!

Conserve speakers onYouTube are saying they won’t be doing any more College speaking events anymore because the campuses are not safe anymore and following when comics left Colleges back in early 90s and now conservative speaker are saying they won’t be same thing now!
 
If those 'conservative speakers' are afraid to go on speaking engagements, that says something about their topic and their tone.

What is missing in all this is not that college students or college age kids are filled with liberal ideas, but that everyone can own a gun because of the 2nd Amendment. It is that conservative stand that is creating the unsafe campuses and neighborhoods. It is the mentality that if you don't like what a person is saying, you can just shoot them. But no one is talking about gun safety or banning specific guns from the general public. Why would I need a rifle or any gun that shoots multiple rounds in seconds? Why would anyone want a weapon that is made for army soldiers? Those are not hunting tools.
 
All I know is growing old and my interest in Life was just fairness in kids to be a kid and thought CRT was pure evil and sinister people seem to love evil! This is root to all Evil in world today in west and east! And North to the South!

Besides as Vet to me the best politicians are the vets and thiose are the people I loved! However I saw good Vets loose their Clearance when guy or girl got divorce at that time and that always rubbed me the wrong way! This always taught me through life to know Women leader the world is way the World is set up!

Plus I more and more conservative when in comes to AI taking over management and feel they will run into so many no answers in trying to get AI into management!
 
My main concern with AI is the lack of responsibility. This is true in all domains, from vide coding (what about IP rights?) to military usage (what risk level do we tolerate?) to human resources (which data can we share?) to art (what is a good music?)...

AI is a tool, like a sledge hammer. A very powerful tool. It must be used by trained people otherwise one may hurt someone. And the one who uses the tool is responsible of the result, including side effects.
 
I’ve noticed so something in USA in Women’s Basketball hate Caitlin Clark is why she wasn’t given the number of 22! Clark just quit that team now! They walked into pure hatred right their because now no one will be using the number of 22!

Hi Satcomer. Can you explain a bit more on the context for us, non American followers of this thread? I tried to search the net to get a clue but I miss it.
 
Explanation: Caitlin Clark, famous women's basketball player has always wore number 22 (except in high school because of rules). It is her lucky/favorite number. For some unknown reason when USA basketball released the training camp roster for the FIBA 2026 Clark was not given her 22 number. In fact nobody was given the number 22. Though there was a rumor that she quit the team - that is not true.

Caitlin Clark is female in WMBA (Women’s professional basketball player) for India team using her birthday number of 22 through her HighSchool through and now as WMBA player and now was invited to USA backer ball for Women’s team. Then the USA player roster had her as backup to current players! Sheba stop player first 2 years in WMBA holding stealing,top scorer, and assisting records in WNBA! Then they only give her a backup player? So Caitlin Clarkis fed up and quit the USA stub is last straw and might jump to new league that is offering millions of dollars to come to Saudi Arabia and play for that team!

regarding "WMBA"... correct letters are WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association)
Caitlin Clark currently seems to be healthy again, preparing for next season with the Indiana Fever (not "India" )

If their season even plays! After the players Union decided to in NBA increase salaries talks for better pay! I call this really bad for new WMBA season! Plus now all the tv deals, Nike contracts with the WMBA is off the table because of the league failure in protecting Caitlin Clark in WMBA and the refs not calling out flagrant fouls!

What gets to me is in Finger Lakes region we usually get our power from Niagara Falls and a Nuclear plant on Lake Ontario! So I don’t understand the price of Electricity go up so fast lately. Even my brother saw in lat 5 years his electric bill went up 120% to their 2020 levels even though they turn off lights now when not in Room and put led plugs in all the lamps!

Because they can. They charge you for the actual power, then they charge you for the delivery of said power and they charge you for the meter that determines how much power you are drawing.
My power company has decided that they will help their customers be more efficient by sending out a monthly report. This monthly report shows how much energy I've used and compare it to my neighbors and my most efficient neighbors. After getting a couple of these reports I realized that they are trying to embarrass me and get me to use less power.
They give pointers like unplug the appliances you are not using. Like your tv, clothes washer & dryer, microwave, coffeepot (and lose the setting for automatic start) and computers, printers, etc. Those things use such a low amount of power while off and will not lower your bill.
 
My brother in smacked 3 bedroom home where the kids are grown and he grandfather now uses less over all electricity to when kids were in home playing console games during the Winters! However just turn off and sleeping computer and they do parred to years ago see this price go through the roof during evening hours but using drastically less energy too!
 
I know he serious about using less fuel for the oil furnace he has installed currently! My brother has learned about heat pumps that survive and work in cold environments for us that live in Northern States! So he trying to convince his wife to get heat pump so he doesn’t have to run the furnace as much!
 
Last fall I put solar on my roof - leased. Since the home is new (to me) I don't have a history with the power company and got way more panels than they usually allow in a leased system. Of course the winter sucks, but I am looking forward to find what my savings will be through the coming seasons. If it works the way I want it to, I will replace my gas furnace with heat pumps.

I put them in a rental unit I had - tenants loved it - AC in summer / steady heat in the winter in zone 5. I will combine it with a direct vent propane heater for the odd day when power fails. Heat pumps are electric after all and the sun don't shine at night. ;)

Transferred it basically. My lease is the same as I expect my bill to be. Right now my utility bill is for gas, which I hope to eliminate. And the summer will tell if the output surplus will work to keep me covered in the winter if/when I switch out the gas furnace.
