I have not been able to repartition a New PowerBook G4 with a bootable OS 9 partition. I've used both the installed 'startup' app and one on the bootup OSX disk. Either way, the OS9 partition does not show up. The New powerbook uses 10.2.3 Is this a do-able on this notebook??

I have set up a small wireless network using a Linksys Router and a Linksys Print Server......The PC on the network finds and prints good, the mac pings the print server, but cannot seem to Appleshare to the IP.

Can I reformat the OSX partition so that I can put a classic OS back on it? Drive Setup is not recognizing this partition as formattable (unsupported drive). Any suggestions?

You must use the 'system disk' app in the 'utilities' folder of the OSX CD to switch from 9 to X. You cannot use the 9.04 startup disk CP when in 9.04
