I have turned off the side buttons now all together. Not had the issue since - defo. a problem with Expose from the Mouse. Maybe a 10.4.3 fix, as the Mighty Mouse is standard kit with the new iMacs.

I am using Backup 3 with a Maxtor 250GB external drive, and have seen no problems at all. However, I can't get Backup 3 to copy my iPhoto library to DVD - It fails every time. I know this doesn't help you, but I was hopeing someone could answer both problems
