I am having the same issue. Worked fine at first. I have the little dock thing, going into a USB 2.0 port. I have just upgraded to 10.4.3, and I am running the latest version of iTunes. System profiler sees the iPod, iTunes doesn't. I have tried everything, including trying to plug it...

I have turned off the side buttons now all together. Not had the issue since - defo. a problem with Expose from the Mouse. Maybe a 10.4.3 fix, as the Mighty Mouse is standard kit with the new iMacs.

I am using Backup 3 with a Maxtor 250GB external drive, and have seen no problems at all. However, I can't get Backup 3 to copy my iPhoto library to DVD - It fails every time. I know this doesn't help you, but I was hopeing someone could answer both problems

I am a Mac user and just switched from Samsung's i330 to i500. It took numerous attempts to get it to sync with my iLife applications (cal & address) but I finally got it to work. And the i500 is a sweet phone and a great improvement over the i330 so well worth the effort is you use iLife...
