I have the same problem, also the ones I have downloaded seem to automatically decide that they are always open on startup.. so I have to wait for these I dont regularly use to load too, when all I want is to use the dictionary quickly.. I'm sure there must be some way to turn off less used ones...

I was trying to burn an Audio CD from iTunes, but when it's played back after burning - nothing can be heard.. however I know it isn't a problem with my CD burner as it copies normal disks fine.. WHat format do I need and how do I go about changing it for when I wish to burn the audio files...

Ihave recently upgraded to Tiger, but when burning CD's there is no option to change the format in which you burn the CD...... .....or is there?

what is a "patch" are these the updates you get (e.g OS Tiger 10.4 - then you upgrade to OS Tiger 10.4.1).. Hope you understood me.. (eeeesh)

so, how do you know if the software you're installing has any viruses? otherwise you're at risk everytime you install....

I don't understand - maybe I am being REALLY un-intelligent here, but Mac OSX can't get viruses? at all?.. or is just a matter of time till someone realises they have one & oops..? Isn't it better to be safe than sorry? prevention is better than cure idea? I really don't understand how...

so I just use my original installation CD from way back when I brought the computer & perform a custom install? (i really am dumb with this sort of thing & so scared of messing it all up & having to clean install the whole system with Tiger again).
