    update killed my ibook... help?

Hi - I'm having an issue. I think it happened because my ibook (first white one, 500mhz g3) ran out of juice while it was optimizing the hard drive from an update. Now when I turn on the ibook, I get the normal startup.. the normal bar where things are loading... but as soon as that finishes...

    iBook G4 battery life

I doubt the life decreased. I think the thing that measures it is wonky. It doesn't seem to go down as fast as it should. And the panther was a clean install.

any that weigh less than 4 ounces? [edit] and according to the specs on their website, it's a 4 gig hard disk, *not* flash-based. So of course you don't get the extra battery life a flash one would offer

    iTunes 4.2

Wiigii! real maximize in windows! Uh... but guys... needs a little work, it's ignoring my dual monitor settings and just blasting that baby fullscreen across both monitors instead of maximizing to current monitor like every other application does. They must have rolled the code for this, too...

Using an iMac for a web kiosk

Hi - We're looking at replacing an IBM PC kiosk with a new iMac, but we need to be able to lock it down and preferably lock the browser (safari or omniweb, preferably) into full-screen or at least maximized mode. I found some good instructions here for locking down...
