    g5 tiger network settings

This smells like a routing issue. What kind of router are you using? Are you trying to connect wirelessly or via ethernet? If it's not an Apple router (Airport), it could be that the router is denying the MAC address for your G5's network card. I don't really think this is it, because...

    Applications QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY

Might be a hard disk issue... You can try using the disk utility software you got with Applecare to verify that the hard disk is not damaged.

I want to throw my imac G5 out the window

When I had a similar iTunes corruption problem, I had to wipe it and reinstall. Sorry, I don't know a hack for disabling the recovery dialog. The real question is why is it freezing up?

    Sharing iTunes/iPhoto libraries (NOT READ-ONLY)

I'm not sure if I posted this in the right place, so sorry if it should be moved. Here's my problem: My girlfriend and I are now living together and have consolidated our music and photos onto our new Mac Mini. This Mac Mini is plugged into my stereo and plasma. In addition to the Mac...

All My User Preferences Just Disappeared! HELP!!

I haven't done anything out of the ordinary that I can think of. I am running 10.4.2 on a 1GHz 17" Powerbook. I use my laptop at work and at home. It was working fine at work. When I opened it up at home, everything looked normal. But then I opened up iTunes and it was as if I had just run...

Comparing Dubya to Steve Jobs? Can you say blasphemy?

PS. Bush says he's doing it in the name of freedom and security, not in the name of God. He actually doesn't talk much about God in his speeches, if you read the transcripts or really pay attention. Bush isn't crazy.. that's the role he's playing. Think about it, if he seemed completely...

Comparing Dubya to Steve Jobs? Can you say blasphemy?

Uh, more wars have been fought in the name of God than for any other cause. And the reason those countries are eternally messed up because of the wars they've fought in the name of God and because of how tightly God is tied to Government. As for Bush, you're seriously oversimplifying. Plus...

    Motorola/Apple iTunes phone coming...

I don't care about playing iTunes tunes on my phone.... I just hope whatever updates they make to iSync will finally let me sync my RAZR V3!

    iCal 1.5.5 out!

I use iCal to maintain the schedule for my band's bookings. I used to sync it on my mobile phone, but I just bought the Motorola RAZR V3 and can no longer use iSync to sync to my mobile. I hope that problem is fixed soon, because this phone rocks! Btw, I use OnSync to sync my contacts in lieu...
