Why go for the PCI when my Powermac is the AGP version? :confused:

My machine was a AGP G4 400 Sawtooth, my priorities were a processor (as quick as I could afford) and some RAM but not a graphics card as I don't play games, I'm buying some Soundsticks and maybe a .mac account this month cos I'm broke with Christmas so I'll leave the graphics card till next...

Right guys, I have a standard 16mb ATi in my Powermac and I'm thinkin about upgrading it, if I got a 64mb Radeon 9000 what benefits would I notice? I do the below with my mac: 1. Surf the net 2. use iMovie for digi camcorder stuff 3. Use iPhoto 4. Watch a bit of DVD & Video Clips...

Is their anyway to get DWL-G520 PCI card to work in my powermac? I can get one for free and would prefer to use instead of my present wireless ethernet bridge :confused:

lol, yeah dude we have Costco over here and I'm a member so I'll check it out, my girlfriend is now hassling me to wait until January when we have the sales here in England so I can get more camera for less, why do women always have to spoil things :confused:

Thanks dude, glad you said that cos I was looking at a Nikon, Canon or Fuji but I like the Nikon the most.

I'm looking to get a new digital camera, bearing in mind my last camera was a 2.0 megapixel Fuji Finepix from 4 years ago, basically I was wondering could anyone give some advise on good mac compatible cameras which don't cost more than £150 ($260), I was looking at a 4mp. :confused:

I'm a beginner at photo editing and graphics so I thought I'd start off with Elements before I started using CS, I can get Elements 3 for about £50 or Elements 2 for about £10, is their much difference between the two and is 3 worth the extra £40? :confused:

I WAS looking to get a Radeon 9000 (cos their cheap) but the 9700 is going cheap, I'm upgrading to a Sonnet 1.2ghz processor and will only be using the Powermac for internet/email, dvd burning, imovie, and general stuff but no gaming.

My Powermac was second hand and didn't come with OS discs thus me spending £90 on the retail boxed version of Tiger :(

I didn't think that G4 Powermacs could take Extreme card, I thought they only took the orginal 802.11b Airport card? :confused:

I bought Tiger yesterday and installed it no problems, I bought a boxed retail version which has only has one disc with has Xtools on, I have looked on the disc for 'Additional Software' as suggested on the Apple support site but the only additional options on the disc are for extra languages...

I have a Sawtooth G4 400 and want to upgrade my graphics card, I used to have a Radeon 9000 Pro in my old Sawtooth but I have noticed a Radeon 9700 cheap on the net, will this work in my Powermac?
