I have something similar. If my printer is on (USB 2.0) and I put the computer to sleep, it doesn't wake up, it has to be rebooted by pressing and holding the button. I suspect the USB deal. Hope this helps.

Couldn't figure it out. VLC 0.7 worked fine but 0.8.1 didn't. I deleted the pref file as (above) and all is well.

VLC 0.8.1 just stopped working! Even on files it worked great with before. I downloaded again, reinstalled and, it still doesn't work, In fact all I get in the menu bar is the VLC heading and nothing else. Weird. Does anyone know if this is a 10.3.7 problem or something else? Thanks.

Thanks for the help Bob. What I discovered (just now) was that Safari Bookmarks Exporter has been upgraded to v.1.0.8 and now exports to the proper location.

It's been my experience that hard drives last about three years. Now I have two internal and one external HDs in hopes that when the next crash comes I won't lose much. I made all three bootable. BTW, changing a hard drive is very easy.

Does anyone know why Keychain Access does not "see" certain pages? In particular some https URLs. I have to manually enter password and user ID wheteher I use Camino, Safari or Mozilla. I need knowledge.
