Issues with nav. bar (site) and Safari Version 2.0.4 (419.3).

Well, I realised now that it WAS related to the resolution of the monitor. But it's still a bug, the rest of the page is centered no matter what the resolution --the search field should be as well.

Help needed: Mac Mini and Nokia 6680.

Interesting you looked up the specs of my computer. But have in mind: This was the very same thing with my previsous mac's. Unsure if it's worth mentioning, they were: A PowerMac G4 with a Bluetooth USB flash card. A Mac Mini (ppc) with built in Bluetooth. And of course my current...

    "Auto scroll" with USB mouse?

No, of course not. But I kind of think I can live with the lack of autoscroll given the other things about the MM that I do get.

Help needed: Mac Mini and Nokia 6680.

Things have now changed: The computer in question is now a PowerBook G4 17", the os is 10.4.7. Beside of that, "Adress book" stilll disconnects to my phone whenever I feel like using Adress book for writing SMS. A very neat feature, by the way. Why is this so? Interesting to note is...

Issues with nav. bar (site) and Safari Version 2.0.4 (419.3).

Hello folks. There's an issue where Version 2.0.4 (419.3) of Safari is being used, and one clicks on the horizontal blue navigation bar almost on top of this page (Starting from left with User CP, FAQ, Members List (...) etc.), and when I click, say, "Search", the script that popups the...

Advice needed: How to "fix" non-complete movie files?

Hello folks. A couple of years back during the days I was on the PC/Windows platform, I had a program called DivxFix (or something), that allowed me to check if the 4,7Gb file(s) I downloaded really was the right one I needed -without spending more than, say, 150Mb of the download process...

Can I Convert WMA to MP3?

I love the iTunes application, but I have to say that this was the most stuping thing I've ever heard about it, even if it is the only thing. As if wma files was tied to the Windows platform just because Windows media player is more common on it. Embarrassing.

Can I Convert WMA to MP3?

According to the Wikipedia iTunes page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itunes) The Windows version of iTunes can automatically convert unprotected WMA (including version 9) files to other audio formats, but it does not support direct playback or encoding of WMA format. It kind of give me the...

Can I Convert WMA to MP3?

Wikipedia suggests that (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ID3_tag) ID3 is a metadata container most often used in conjunction with the MP3 audio file format. It allows information such as the title, artist, album, track number, or other information about the file to be stored in the file itself.

    Q: "Autofill" for non-shuffle iPods.

I own a 4G 60Gb iPod with color display. However, I was wondering if there are any ways to. A: ) Have a playlist with content randomly selected (with the specifications seemingly available for iPod Shuffle users. and / or B: ) Have the entire iPod filled just as randomly as the iPod Shuffle...

Can I Convert WMA to MP3?

Iven if it's 100% correct and true, I've been thinking of this lately. How come one version (platform specific) is able to convert in this way around, but not the other? I thought iTunes were iTunes, no matter what platform. How can this be?

    In 1996.

But seriously, I think it's all true. Have a glance at http://news.com.com/2100-1040-943519.html . I think Mac people buy more software and are violating less copyright laws, too.

    In 1996.

This is interesting. Why do you think this? Can you explain it further? The thought that came to my mind was actually that the Mac community pays more attention to beneath-hood changes than the "other" (eh) world. Doesn't it sell? To whom does it not sell? To scrip kiddies emulating Tiger x86...

Benefits from using computer delivered OS?

Okay folks. I am now up and running with a new Panther system, from the original installation DVD's that was delivered with the computer. One question, tho: I saved /Uses/xxx/Library/Mail (among other things, wich works great upon importing post install), and I have set up my previous...

    Screensaver app: Weird behavior.

Hello folks. I have Mac OS X Tiger running on a PowerBook G4 17". The system works as espected by all means, exept for one thing. First off, I repair disk permissions on a weekly basis, and it rarely reports any problems. Pay respect to the fact that I use the Swedish version of the...

Benefits from using computer delivered OS?

Benefits from using computer delivered OS?

Yes, I've been thinking about that possibility, too. I know that iLife was included when I got my Mac Mini (and it must have been on the same DVD). I really miss iPhoto really much, even if there might be a rather old version of it if iLife is included in the discs I'm thinking about. Is iLife...

Benefits from using computer delivered OS?

Hello folks. Today we're going on my second month of a happy used PowerMac G4 (17 -inch) owner, a computer that I've got from a friend when he got himself a new MacBook Pro. This thing was delivered with Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther). Panther being rather old in these days of Apple's innovation...
