So far, Safari only saves to my desktop and I'm getting a little tired of moving everything from there to the appropriate folder. I know I can select somewhere other than the desktop to save files in the preferences panel, but I'm talking about choice on a file-by-file basis.

That's exactly what I keep doing insofar as the image is concerned. It's the mask that keeps getting messed up. Instead of something that looks like the image, it's always this big black square. I guess I don't know how to select the mask itself in Photoshop; that's probably it.

Bump. I wanna know, too.

So I've come up with some cool icons in Photoshop. Problem is, I can't get the images to translate into proper icons. I've used Iconographer and Pic2Icon--followed the instructions, too--so it has to be the mask. In that case, how do I fix it?

I'm using IE 5 on 10.2 and the stupid thing is being really selective about what it remembers and what it doesn't. For instance, it remembers my log-in information for a couple of sites, but then instantly forgets it for everything else. Like this site: I have to log in every time I visit even...

Ugh, it's the G4 and no, I don't have a picture. But it's a pretty big crack, right down the left side of the case. I don't know how the screen managed to survive, but if I have to live with a cracked case, I suppose I can deal.

Heh, I just got off the phone with the Apple Store down here. Six hundred bucks is what they told me for the top case. I find that hard to believe since that would be roughly a quarter of what I paid for the entire computer, brand new.

I cracked the top half of my PowerBook's monitor shell. Everything still works fine, but the crack is kinda unsightly. If you guys can point me towards some place that I might be able to get a new shell, I'd appreciate it.

For whatever reason, Internet Explorer has stopped saving cookies for some sites. Most seem unaffected (like this one) but in the case of, say, Hotmail, it doesn't matter how many times I click "remember my log in," it never does.

I finally found a Divx player that works, but I can't copy .avi files to my hard drive. Why? Every time I try, just before its done, I get this message that certain parts couldn't be read and therefore not copied, error "-36" whatever that is. Help, anyone?
