My Apple Bluetooth keyboard did the same thing last week (minus the pussy), after I changed the batteries. No matter what I did it still acted strange. In the end I got a little frustrated and gave it a whack. After that it worked perfectly. It was probably a stuck key I guess.

How bizarre, the only thing I can suggest is to re-install iTunes from the website. Also download the iPod Video software from the website. I'm sure it should work the same on Panther.

With regards to the syncing of your contacts and calendars, have you ticked the boxes in the iPod prefs when it is connected in iTunes? This caught me out when I got my Vid iPod for Christmas.

No problems. I agree, the iCal integration is the biggest thing lacking in .Mac for me. It would be great if my calendars and To-Dos were all available along with everything else on the start page, (Mail and Address Book, Movies etc). Plus it would be great to be able to edit calendars online...

I may be wrong, but I think you can only view your calendars on another computer if you 'Publish' them using iCal. I publish one of my Calendars (select the cal. and then the 'publish' option). Once the Calendar is uploaded to your .Mac webspace, it will then give you the URL to access it from...

Mine went perfectly, as it always has done. I don't have any add-ons or UI changing software though, which seems to be the cause of most peoples problems. My hard disk was working away happily when I first re-started, doing the whole indexing thing again I guess, took about 10 minutes.

I've been thinking of using Mail 2 to send my email newsletters out too, but so far have avoided it because of the bizarre reason of it seeming to easy! Has anyone had any problems with the emails rendering badly in other email clients on all OS's? If all seems to be fine, I may well give it a go.

Yup, mines back online now, got Backup 3 and a few new features, including 1Gb of storage. A new 'groups' thingy too, but I haven't checked that out yet.
