Speaking of which, I still can't get my 1 PC with a LinkSys USB wireless box to and running XP SP2 to connect with my Airport if I turn encryption on. Actually, let me rephrase that. It will "connect" but won't transfer data. Is this normal? Anyway around it? Do i just need a better PC...

I would think you could use both. You would just have to change configurations in the Network control panel from AirPort to Ethernet depending on what you want to use.

Yes. If you have the boot CD that came with it (or any recent copy of OSX), insert it, shut down the PB and when you reboot hold down the C key. When the PB CD boots and gives you the installation screen, go to FILE in the task bar at the top. Somewhere in there will be an option to reset...

Hey, thanks for all the info guys. It appears that upgrading to AP Extreme won't help much unless I put extreme cards in the G4 Tower and G4 iMac and upgrade the PCs wireless box to match. With as little as I do this, it doesn't seem like it's worth the effort right now. At least now I know...

So what you are saying is if I upgraded to an Airport extreme, this whole process might speed up. Ok, I can live with that. Just seems odd that the whole thing is fast when connected to the internet via Airport, but slow computer to computer. Oh well.... Thanks for the help....

What software are you using to burn the CDs? If you are using the Finder, make sure you go into Control Panels and tell the system to mount the blank CD on your desktop. That way the system will always know where the disc is. If you are using TOAST, you can change what burner it will us by...
