I have recently stared to experiment with Sharepoints in a small office network environment. Is their any way to apply multiple Groups to a Shared Folder? I would like to have every user with their own shared folder, acting as a drop box for the other users. The problem is since the user...

    10.2.4 killed RAM

After upgrading to 10.2.4 my system only recognized 704mb of the 960mb installed ram. Running the System Profiler revealed that the 256DIMM in the 2nd slot wasn't being recoginzed and was listed as 'empty'. Anyone else having a similar problem? G4/400 AGP

Deep Sleep & Fan Noise in Jaguar

I removed all of the PCI cards from my G4/400 AGP. It turned out to be the Digidesign Audiomedia III card that caused the deep sleep problem. I was able to get the machine to Deep Sleep with the Adaptec 2906 card without any problem.

    How do you monitor users?

How do you know if any network users are connected to your computer? Under OS9 there was a "connected users" window in the File Sharing Conrtrol Panel or a pop up under the Control Strip. I cannot find anywhere in OSX to tell if a user is connected to a machine. I presume, at the very...
