    Using AluBook with lid closed

Hi I just read in the new 15-inch PowerBook's manual that if you connect the power adapter, an external display, a keyboard and a mouse you can use the powerbook with the lid closed. I also read HERE that by doing that you were risking to overheat the machine. Should I listen to apple and use...

PHP - Hard Coding or Dreamweaver?

I agree that you shouldn't use Dreamweaver's built-in features to create database connections, etc. You should hand code, however, Dreamweaver is a great tool to hand code in php because it contains a good reference of available PHP functions and has code-sense (although somewhat limited) that...

Which of these PowerBooks should I buy?

Hi. I'm in great doubt about which one of these PowerBooks I should buy. I'll use it mainly for Graphic Design (Photoshop, After effects, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, flash). apps that dont work on 7B85

In order to Macromedia MX 2004 products to work you have to search your hard drive for a folder called Macrovision (i don't remember if there was more than one). Anyway you have to delete that folder if it resides inside a Library folder. Once you've done that, you have to reinstall your...

    Adobe Acrobat Proffessional (printer)

Thanx for the answer. What I meant is a "printer" that Acrobat installs. When you select "print" from the File menu in Jaguar, you could select the printer (I think it wass called Adobe PDF) and there you chose the profile it should use to generate the PDF (screen, print, press, etc.)
