Apologize, didn't realize that. A possibility is that the Finder has set your link files as created by IE. Try this: in the finder select one of those links, and get info. Select the option "open with" and set to Omniweb, then apply to all files. Now all your link files should point to OW.

Launch system preferences -> internet and click the "web" label. Then set your browser in the upper pop-up field as you like. Omniweb is my unique browser.

Problem solved, files were corrupted.

I've just received a large collection of slides for a five days presentation prepared in PowerPoint 2000 for windows. Now, the finder (the info window) recognizes these files as a PowerPoint presentation, but when opening them with PowerPoint X I get a message saying they are in an unreadable...

I just found that a few applications (see the image) are now seen by finder as documents. On the other hand, they seem to work normally, nor did I notice any other inconvenience. How can I get them back to their real type?
