Thanks for your reply, but that was not really what I meant. What I was looking for was a way to remove or hide a user from the login screen (the one that we see when we start our Mac).

Is it possible to remove a user from the login list? I have a ftp-user on my computer, and he will never login that way...

I think Alcatel Speed Touch Home is "driver independent" aswell, it connects via the Ethernet port.

I have a Alcatel Speed Touch Home, and it works perfectly with both Mac OS X/9.x and Windows XP. Are all modems compatible with all ISP's? Edit: Typo.

No doubt, it is a good mouse, but it isn't a great product. Let me remind you that it took Microsoft close to a year to suply drivers for Mac OS X.
