Umm, they are using MSIE. Of course it is slow. It has always been slow on X. In fact, it's slow slow that I exclusively use mozilla now.

hmm. I'd prefer to be rid of the name Macintosh, but it's Mac OS, etc, and there is a lot to change there.. However, I think Apple should go with the Apple name.. and stick with it. They can name the compters in stages.. or something. Think about it: we can have the Apple stage I, the Apple II...

That would be an even greater prank if more people would donate in MSFT's name. That would really cloud the issue and make it seem to the casual observer that they come down on both sides of the issue; this is a bad position to be in.

Did you ever try loading Media Player 7 on a PC? It is the worst experience! Pop in a CD, and wait 60 seconds for the stupid app to load. Change screens in the app, and see a noticable 5 second lag. Visualisation is slow too. It's bloat bloat bloat, and unlike Apple's quicktime, you can't...

I happen to have 'fast' eyes. Anything below 72Hz on a CRT makes me dizzy. I have no such problem with the TFT iMac. Nor do I see 'ghosts'

The funny thing is that the PC games have been keeping around the 400-700 MHz range for reccomended speed, while the RAM usage and graphics requirements have risen. The 2.5GHz is the difference between 65 FPS and 165. I don't think you'd miss those frames much :p
