I have always found Crucial.com reasonable and I've never had a fault wih the RAM I've purchased. I'm sure there must be other suggestions too. Would be good to hear of others to compare to.

Are you trying to access your router with your MacBook wired or wireless? If its wired to the router then it should be no different than if a PC was accessing it I'm thinking.
