I have the same problem. But it works for me when I am in a game. in the menus the console doesnt work, but when playing, it works. can you confirm that? strange and annoying.
on my linux machines it works in the menus and in game. I was told that it works in windows too.

well I can switch to 32bit but I think it is slower. 16bit is enough for me. too bad that apple doesnt allow you to turn off dithering.

using OSX 11.1.5 with an ATI128 and 15" TFT Studio Display, I notice very annoying dithering when using 16bit mode ("thousands of colors"). some colors and blending look very ugly on the TFT because of the dithering effect. can I turn it of somehow? :confused:
