I have two linksys routers that do the same thing. with mine, it's the switching. for some reason the router quits routing, not necessarily losing internet, but quits routing through and my laptops can't connect. my office one does it to.

switched back to "shared" and now the shortcut is working and bringing up the pc folders. but, the pc still won't come up when searching for a file through open file, then selecting network, then selecting my network name, nothing appears..... PITA!

virtually, my kernel_task is generally using 1.2 GB and I use firefox, which with 2 or 3 tabs up, pulls around 500 MB. My safari with 1 window is usually around 300 MB and several windows will put it to 500 or 600. I'm also working with 2 GB of Ram.

Apple's site is sometimes hard to tell what version is the latest. I do the "check updates" and assume I have the latest and that Leopard will be the next one out but wanted to verify that.
