I always use the key commands, and only get the spinning beach ball. I've let it sit for 20 minutes to no avail. I've repaired disk permissions, but haven't tried repairing the disk itself.

i'm not quite sure what AAC exactly is, but what's up with quicktime 6.2 only being for 10.1.5? i don't think i'll ever use it, but is there a way for 10.2.x itunes to import AAC?

nope, it doesn't do that. internet explorer will open the file correctly, but safari does it's strange little thing.

it never renames the files, or maybe i'm not waiting long enought. how long does it usually take?

those work fine. its the attachments that say for example "dscp444.jpg" when i click the link, safari downloads the file and renames it to attachment.php i can rename the suffix to jpg and it opens up, but that's too many steps for my lazy self.
