Can you give us some examples of what you are trying to accomplish?
It will be easier if we can have an idea of your problem, I use numbers, and never experienced any type of errors with copy/paste. It will always retain the source formatting unless you use Paste and Match Style or only paste...
Here is the solution on that thread:
1) delete all of the items whose name starts with "hp_" in System/Library/Extensions
2) Disconnect the printer and turn off the printer
3) delete the printer if it's still there
4) reset the printing system
5) restart the Mac
6) empty the trash
7) turn on...
Make sure HP gives you the right driver for your printer. It should have the forth folder on the printer properties with the Printer Utility. Or you are not using the correct driver, or HP has given you the incorrect one.
Can you print a test page using the Printer Utility? I have a HP printer connected to my SL and I can easily access the scanner and the printer, using the printer utility.
This is an error that is happening to many computers after the last update. Microsoft is (I hope) working on a new update to fix it. It is not only opening email, if you mark one to delete, it can also crash.
Strange behavior... I use it for a long time, and so far it has not present this issue you are presenting... I would agree with Satcomer, it may be a check time issue...
