since i upgraded to OSX.1, i've had continuous troubles with there being e-mail background check timeout failures. it seems that i can check my e-mail properly most of the time, but when it is left to automatically check e-mail for me, it always comes up with this timeout failure on port 110...

also... i had created a user and deleted it... now, under the "users" directory, it sits there as "username deleted"... and it will not let me actually delete it! this got me thinking... is it possible to ues the terminal program to "get in there" and not only delete things that the OS won't...
