    It seems like that you have a bad memory module. What you have to do is to get a refund of it. I have a 512 MB memory module to sell. It worked flawlessly with my previous ibook. Now it is working in my new powerbook. As far as I know PC133 sodimm memory works in ibook, powerbook and new iMac...

    I need more ram!!!!

    G4 400Mhz is slow to run VPC 5.0. Though you may add more ram to your Mac you cannot see any noticeable increase in performance.

    airport problems

    I am not sure that my advice would resolve your situation. Here is my advice. Use Lan port of your ibook to connect it to your base station. It may works with wire connection. Then turn on the airport. And then disconnect Lan cable from your ibook. I assume that your internet setting is DHCP.

    In my powerbook airport setting IP address is given by DHCP. It is 10.0.1.7. And my airport base station IP address is 12.228.xxx.xxx. I use AT&T cable modem for internet connection.
